Henry N. Cobb, a founding member one of the world’s leading architectural firms Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, was the former Chair of the Department of Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and the winner of the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council on Tall Buildings. Mr. Cobb has designed a number of landmark buildings in Boston, most notably the John Hancock Tower, which is widely regarded as the foremost modern building in the City. The Hancock Tower was awarded the American Institute of Architects’ prestigious 25 Year Award, the AIA’s highest recognition given to a building.
